Over 100 models

Over the past ten years, the Scleroderma Framed Foundation has photographed more than 100 models with scleroderma, whose portraits have been compiled and arranged in the photo book "Scleroderma in Focus: 100+1 Models". By portraying people with (systemic) scleroderma, the Scleroderma Framed Foundation raises awareness of this condition in a positive way. This is necessary because scleroderma is a rare and potentially life-threatening rheumatic (autoimmune) disease that is still too little-known, even among medical specialists and paramedics.
In June and October 2023, we will pay extra attention to our mission of raising awareness of scleroderma: June is Scleroderma Awareness Month, featuring World Scleroderma Day on 29 June, and 12 October is World Arthritis Day. On 15 June, we will be present at the "Smile for Scleroderma Framed" Beer Festival in Terheijden, organised by people who wholeheartedly support our cause, and on 29 June 2023 at the Scleroderma Congress in Nieuwegein, organised by the Dutch NVLE Association.
