World Scleroderma Month 2025
Posted on Saturday 24 May 2025 Reading time: less than 1 minute

June is traditionally known as Scleroderma Awareness Month. The entire month is dedicated to scleroderma (systemic sclerosis), culminating in World Scleroderma Day on 29 June, the anniversary of the death of Paul Klee, an artist who died from complications of scleroderma.
Across the globe, 28 (patient) organisations in 22 countries, under the guidance of FESCA (the Federation of European Scleroderma Associations), are campaigning to raise awareness of this potentially life-threatening condition. During this month, Scleroderma Framed also goes the extra mile to raise awareness of scleroderma.
